Resembling a small toolbox (15.5 inches by 10.5 inches by 9.5 inches), the Fire Caddy DC is a 12-volt, self-contained, foam fire-suppression system that provides the fire-fighting capability of up to 12 large fire extinguishers. It can be used for supplemental fire protection and in conjunction with installed powder systems for engine-fire suppression.

The system incorporates an approved Halon replacement, FlameOut, an environmentally friendly, non-toxic, biodegradable suppressant engineered to extinguish Class A and Class B fires. A suction hose, which extends to 15 feet, delivers water from any type of reservoir, including saltwater. The system can also be plumbed and hard wired.

It delivers six gallons per minute at 110 pounds per square inch through 25 feet of three-quarter-inch lay-flat fire hose up to 45 feet away. Standard features include a 25-minute duty motor, a wall-plug charger and 2.5 gallons of FlameOut. A cart-mounted dockside version for marinas is also available.
