An innovative approach to air distribution on luxury yachts comes from
air-conditioning specialist N.R. Koeling. In its new concept, primary air is
supplied through injector nozzles to a distribution console (designed as a
module that fits in a ceiling panel system), while secondary (room) air is
induced to the console through a heat exchanger. The air is mixed and
re-circulated back into the room. Quiet and reliable, the application has no fan
motor, no complex electronics and does not require a condensed water drainage
system. It is ideal for low-occupancy spaces such as staterooms, crew cabins and
foyers.
