Swiss performance watchmaker
Bell & Ross recently unveiled a timepiece aimed at those who dive submarine
deep. Bell & Ross’s new BR02 Instrument is water-resistant to 1,000 meters.
According to the company, the watch satisfies two basic principles: readability
and water resistance. To satisfy the extreme conditions of deep-sea diving, the
BR02 is fitted with photo-luminescent large hands and index to make it
easier to read in the deepest, darkest depths.
Guaranteed to be water-resistant to its maximum stated depth, the BR02 can
resist pressure levels higher than the standards set by the Swiss watchmaking
industry. During deep-sea diving, its decompression valve balances the pressure
inside the case with exterior pressure. It has an ergonomic case and a choice of
straps—and it looks very cool.
