Yachting historians Dominique Gabirault and Malcolm Wood have
crafted a richly illustrated, 180-page history of Benetti boatbuilding titled
Benetti—The Legend
Continues. Published in English, French and Italian, the
book recounts the early days of the shipyard and the Benetti family—through and
after the yard’s acquision by current owner Paolo Vitelli. It concludes with all
the yard’s latest developments, including some predictions for the future. The
tome features many never-before-published photos and an index of the Benetti
fleet by year, hull number and illustration.
