JRC Radar Has Proprietary Circuitry.

The JMA-5300 series is JRC’s new line of high-performance
radars built around its proprietary Application Specific Integrated Circuit
(ASIC) architecture.
The IMO-certified radar series features Constaview display
enhancement, which delivers real-time presentation by refreshing the image every
16 milliseconds. Its Target Enhancement Feature (TEF) analyzes each echo and
increases the discrimination between targets, which reduces fading and loss of
ARPA tracking. Sea clutter can be adjusted by sector, rather than relying on one
level for the entire screen. All radar functions can be executed using the
keyboard or on screen using a trackball.
The series is available in power outputs of 10-kW, 25-kW, 50-kW
X-Band and 30-kW, 60-kW S-band with six-, seven-, nine-, eight- and 12-foot
antennas, respectively.
