There isn’t a yachtsman alive who hasn’t wished for a quieter generator.
Northern Lights’ InSep system reduces its generator’s sound signature as well as
exhaust noise.
InSep can be retrofitted to any Northern Lights generator from
26kW to 240kW, when installed in a Northern Lights sound enclosure. The system
integrates the lift muffler and gas/water separator within the enclosure,
dramatically reducing engine noise.
The separator drains the cooling water
from the exhaust and expels it below the waterline, eliminating the sound of
splashing water at anchor. Including the exhaust within the enclosure permits
InSep-equipped generators to be installed in tighter quarters and eases
installation.
