Canon Unveils L–Series Image Stabilization Binoculars.

Canon has combined its Image Stabilization (IS) technology with
its L–series lenses and added a fully waterproof body to create a binocular
that fulfills the needs of even the most serious outdoor enthusiast.
The new 10x42 L IS WP binocular incorporates a large 4.2-mm
exit pupil, a 65-degree apparent field-of-view and Doublet field-flattener
lenses to provide a wide, edge-to-edge distortion-free view. The IS
mechanism is Canon’s exclusive Vari-Angle Prism, which compensates for most
pitch and yaw variations. Super Spectra multicoating provides a high contrast
ratio and suppresses image-degrading flare while two ultra-low dispersion
elements reduce chromatic aberration and enhance image sharpness.
