Zodiac Offers Megayacht Evacuation System.

Just say YES and yacht evacuation will be a lot safer. Mimicking
airline evacuation slides, Zodiac’s Yacht Evacuation System (YES) is approved by
the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency under the Large Commercial Yacht Code.
Consisting of a single stainless steel container that installs within the ship’s
structure, it can also incorporate an outside panel integrated into the
yacht’s exterior styling.
The 4.6-by-3-by-1.4-foot, 474-pound container is permanently
installed on a yacht’s side at evacuation-deck level. Pulling the firing strap simultaneously inflates and deploys the escape slide and floating transfer
platform. This eliminates the need for long ladder descents into life rafts and
enables the elderly or infirm to quickly evacuate the vessel in an emergency.
Two lines from the mounting platform remain connected to cleats on the
baseplate, making any hull appendages unnecessary. It can be retrofit or
installed during initial construction.
