Downsized Grayscale Charts Are a Cost-Saving Option.

Bellingham Chart Printers’ grayscale chart reproductions save both
space and money. More than 4,000 NOAA and NIMA world nautical charts are
available either individually or organized into 150 portfolios, each comprising
seven to 61 charts. Full- and two-thirds scale charts are printed on 24-pound,
fieldwork bond paper, comparable to NIMA chart paper. The reduced-size charts,
bound with removable nylon fasteners, cost 74 percent less than original color
charts. Multiple shades of gray make it easy to distinguish landmasses, shoals
and fathom curves, even under night lighting.
