Featuring Linn's proprietary 2K Driver Array technology, the loudspeakers have a larger than normal sweet spot delivering a high level of performance within the listening area. The increased sweet spot provides positioning flexibility, making them ideal for yacht installations where space is at a premium. The loudspeakers can be made Aktiv by adding an optional active crossover, and all three models incorporate a fire-retardant acoustic enclosure that ensures consistent performance regardless of the surrounding material. An optional fire-retardant metal-back box is available for each speaker when it is necessary to comply with safety regulations. A new installation mechanism makes the Custom 2K series easy to install.
