Toggling between customizable functions and preset split screens is accomplished by simply touching the screen button. Connect any plasma display to the 8000i black box, add the remote keypad, and the existing technology transforms into a fully functional 8000i.

The entire MAX Pro vector cartography chart library is contained on the 8000i hard drive, eliminating the need for keeping track of chart cards. Users can access chart regions by contacting C-Map or a dealer for a license key. Chart updates/corrections can be performed by CD/DVD or Internet download.
