ComNav Marine’s IMO-approved Vector G2 GPS Satellite Compass
provides autopilots, radars, sonars, chart plotters and automatic
identification systems with accurate heading and positioning data. It draws
information from sources such as WAAS and EGNOS for positioning accuracy within
three meters, automatically switching to the appropriate system. Heading updates
are provided up to 10 times per second.
The Vector G2’s pitch-and-roll accuracy is better than one
degree rms, so it continues to deliver critical information, even in rough seas.
The rate of turn is tracked at up to 25 degrees per second. Fully adjustable
dampening ensures data is incorporated correctly into the autopilot after
turns.
Unaffected by magnetic interference, the Vector G2 is ideal for
use on steel vessels. It includes a stabilized NMEA output for the autopilot
heading, comes with RS-232C and RS-422 serial ports, is waterproof and measures
23.62 by 6.29 by 7.08 inches.
