No Cables Required for These Brass Instruments.
Waterfront: Wireless Weather

The first wireless brass weather instruments, which eliminate the need for cables, were recently introduced by Maximum of New Bedford, Massachusetts. Each instrument comes with a remote sensor that can be positioned outdoors for optimum data collection. High-speed (906.5-MHz) wireless data transfer enables the instruments to display instantaneous local weather information. (Click image to enlarge)

The Wireless Maestro records wind speed and direction, while the Wireless Mini-Max is a highly accurate thermometer. The Wireless Rainwatch records both long- and short-term rainfall from .01 inch to 99.99 inches. Maximum also offers a barometer, as well as digital versions of its analog products.
