The Oasis' bridge is the command center, but system data can be accessed from virtually every monitor on board.
TechTalk: Divine Data Delivery

Lürssen 195
Oasis features a new incarnation of Lürssen’s Besecke Automation System. The system is fully Ethernet based, with mimic pages (control data replicated on any video display aboard the ship) specially made for Oasis. With a mouse click, these mimics allow the crew to transfer fuel, adapt ballast or monitor any system using continuously updated operational data gathered from more than 1,000 sensors. Ten CCTV cameras provide visual backup for those unwilling to trust the digital information and also aid with security and maneuvering; screens at both port and starboard wing stations are linked to the cameras scattered around the perimeter of the yacht for the latter application.

The completely IP-based network also integrates all passenger-controlled functions, from lighting to on-demand audio and video—including weather and location information—to opening and closing the window blinds. That meant that designer Glade Johnson needed to work with the programmers and installers to fine-tune the integration of technology and aesthetics. (Click image to enlarge)

Placement of the AMX control panels, which are located in virtually every space on the yacht, was crucial. In the staterooms, the portable AMX tablets are concealed in bedside drawers. The touch of a button raises the tablet to a 45-degree angle, perfect for operating in bed or taking on the go. In public areas, the tablets are usually mounted on a wall in an inconspicuous place or inside cabinets. (Click image to enlarge)

Johnson also went to great lengths to make the yacht’s many flat-panel audiovisual displays less noticeable. All are hidden behind some type of decorative panel—artwork, joinery, fabric or a combination thereof—when not being used for viewing. The AMX remote will still operate all the system’s lighting, music and other non-video functions with the decorative covers closed.
