About Chartering
When asked what they are seeking in a vacation destination,
most people reply with at least one of the following:
A quiet place -- but not boring.
A place where I can feel free to be myself.
A place where I can have new experiences.
A place where I can relax.
Anywhere that I don't have to do anything I don't want to.
A place where everything is taken care of for me

Do you think it is impossible to find all those features in one destination? Well, not if your destination is one of the world's finest luxury charter yachts! A professionally crewed private yacht supplies the platform to meet all your vacation dreams without compromise. The number-one choice of celebrities and royalty alike, cruising aboard a private yacht is the ultimate escape.A yacht holiday brings the fun of a tour without all the bother of constantly packing and unpacking. Every yacht charter offers the opportunity to enjoy new places and experiences at your own pace. Why leave Ste. Tropez before drinking in one of its legendary golden sunsets just because the cruise ship wants to sail before the first dinner service? When you charter a yacht, your wishes come first.

With all the provisioning, service, and operation of the yacht in the hands of professional crew, holidays afloat take full advantage of a blissful environment where every moment is quality time. Imagine a vacation uninterrupted by schedules and hoards of other travelers. If you find yourself dreaming of e a vacation without long lines, fast food and slow service, you are already imagining yourself on a charter!

Despite luxurious trappings, yacht charters provide excellent vacation value. There's no paying extra for water skiing or windsurfer rentals, no extra fees for beach towels. All your water sports toys are included in the yacht's charter fee. There are yachts that feature skeet-shooting, yachts with Nintendo and Play Station games for kids, yachts with spas, yachts with gymnasiums, yachts with discos, yachts with pianos, yachts with plunge pools, and yachts with karaoke. A yacht charter is a lot like a stay at an all-inclusive resort – you can take advantage of all it has to offer without constantly reaching for your wallet.

From the moment you step on board, the yacht's crew is your crew. Along with seeing you safely from port to port, their jobs are to make sure you have a glorious, carefree holiday in a style as casual or as formal as you desire. You can dress for dinner every evening or wear your swimsuit around the clock. Many yachts have crewmembers with special sports skills. Some include talented musicians. Some yachts in the fleet count nurses or certified EMTs among their crew, others have massage therapists or personal trainers. Virtually all crew are trained in advanced first aid.

The personalization of a yacht charter leads to value, too. As the charterer, you can specify not only a type of cuisine, but also specific brands. Your yacht holiday will literally be customized to your tastes with a provisioning preference checklist. Every attempt will be made to stock the vessel as if it truly is your private yacht, right down to breakfast cereals and liquor brands. First-time charterers, or those unfamiliar with a particular cruising area, may overestimate the distances that easily can be covered in a yacht holiday of a given duration. Work with your broker or and/or the yacht's captain to plan a realistic itinerary. As a rule of thumb, it is better to loosely plan an itinerary than to try to stick to a rigid schedule that might be compromised by a single afternoon of inclement weather. In fine-tuning your plans, your charter broker and the yacht's crew will have lots of recommendations about local points of interest and can arrange land tours, and recommend shops, galleries and restaurants.

Do you prefer formal dining with white-glove service, or do you enjoy meals more when served in a casual setting? What is more important to you, lavish indoor space or large decks and an outdoor Jacuzzi? No expectation about shipboard arrangements is too trivial to discuss with your broker. Do you need an elevator and wheelchair access? What about an uninterrupted link to CNN or e-mail? When a broker asks you these questions, it is not out of idle curiosity.
